Hello, I am Kelly Dalton, and I am currently a junior Marketing major with a Psychology minor at The College of New Jersey. I love the European Study Center and Heidelberg because both are small enough that you can become very comfortable and feel at home here. I chose the ESC Heidelberg program because something about it was different from the other study abroad programs. Most of the other study abroad programs I had seen were in major cities, such as Rome, London, or Madrid. What I liked about Heidelberg is that it is small enough that you can become very comfortable and feel at home here, while also having all of the benefits of living in a city. Heidelberg is great because there is always something new to explore here, but it is not as overwhelming and hectic as a large metropolitan area. In this program, I have the opportunity to get to know this unique German city while also having the ability to visit larger cities and other countries on the weekends. At this point, I have been living in Heidelberg for almost a month and I have only been reaffirmed in my decision of choosing the ESC Heidelberg Program for my study abroad experience.
