I am a sophomore at the University of The Incarnate Word studying communication art with a concentration in journalism as well as a photography and English minor. My main interest is more of a passion. For the past 6 years, I have been taking photos. I fell in love with photography from the first time I held a camera, my freshman year of high school. From competitions, being published in newspapers, and having the title of photo editor for 4 years. I have never felt more comfortable than when I am using my skill. What I hope to do with my photography in the future is to use it journalistically by reporting on global issues that people should know about. I am a firm believer that a picture really can be worth a thousand words and that is what I hope to accomplish with my work. I want to make a difference in the only way I truly know how to. During my time in Heidelberg, I was able to pursue my passion as a social media ambassador at the ESC.
